Do you want to experience the starry sky up close? At the Slottsskogen Observatory, you can book a private viewing and have the entire observatory to yourselves. We welcome both small groups of 1–20 people and larger parties of up to 40 participants, perfect for associations, school classes, companies, or families who want to share a unique experience.
During a private viewing, you’ll be taken on a guided journey through space. In clear weather, we observe the night sky together through our telescopes. What we see depends on the season and the month, sometimes planets, sometimes star clusters or galaxies, but there’s always something exciting to discover.
In addition to the observations, you’ll also get a tour of our museum, where we share insights about the night sky, the life cycles of stars, and other fascinating topics. You’ll have the chance to ask questions and hear stories that make the universe a little easier to understand.
